The Volunteer GED Instructor will provide structured, supportive, and engaging instruction to youth preparing for the GED exam. The instructor will foster a trauma-informed, strengths-based learning environment that promotes trust, consistency, and empowerment.
Instruction & Curriculum Delivery

Plan and facilitate daily GED preparation classes in math, science, social studies, reading, and writing.

Adapt instructional strategies to accommodate various learning styles and academic levels.

Utilize trauma-informed teaching practices to support students' emotional and psychological safety.

Build positive, professional relationships with youth through patience, empathy, and consistency.
